Olive Picking

Here are a few pictures from our trip to the countryside of Rome to participate in some olive picking--an activity that quickly turned into a bunch of twenty-somethings having olive wars (Yes, I was one of the people reprimanded for throwing olives.  The other kids started it).   And honestly, I was more into taste testing than the whole manual labor thing, but who can blame me?

so artsy.

The real reason for going on this trip--eating

Playing some calcio

First course: roasted chicken and potatoes with rosemary

Main course: porchetta (pork roast with rosemary, garlic, and other herbs and spices)
